The Margaret River Shorts final 12 and awards presentation will be held on Saturday June 6 at the Margaret River Cultural Centre. There will be live music, food and wine - bar opens at 6pm.  Show starts at 6.30pm. Margaret River Shorts is a celebration of storytelling in the region and Australia and awards prizes for: • Best Film – Open. Best Short Films from Around the World. $2500 cash in prizes. • Best Southwest Film – Best Short Film made in or by residents of the Southern Part of WA.  $1000 cash in prizes. • Best Grommet Film – Best Short Film made by a person under the age of 18. $500 Cash in prizes. • Best Surf/Sports Film – Best Film made with major content to do with surf or sports. $750 cash in prizes • Best Audience Reaction – Audience Choice. $250 cash in prizes.  Tickets will be $15/$10 conc.
